About Natalie Sudman

Raised in Minnesota, Natalie has lived most of her adult life in eastern Oregon, Montana and South Dakota. She recently moved to southern Arizona. After earning an MFA in ceramics from the University of Oregon, she worked for 16 years as an archeologist in the Great Basin states. After two deployments to help with Hurricane Katrina cleanup, she accepted a position with the US Army in Iraq in 2006.

Natalie maintains that an irreverent sense of humor and a willingness to look foolish are the cornerstones of constructive exploration.

Now retired from government service, she concentrates on art and writing.
